After moving to Australia in 2008, Mark settled in Perth with his family and has since built a warm, patient-centred osteopathy clinic in Maylands. He now supports a wide range of patients, from active adults managing back pain, neck pain or joint pain, to children and seniors needing gentle hands-on care.
With a focus on thorough assessment, clear explanations and honest guidance, Mark provides individualised osteopathic care tailored to each person’s circumstances and goals. He works collaboratively with patients to develop management plans that reflect their needs and preferences.
01.
Your appointment begins with a relaxed, yet detailed chat about your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and goals. Our osteopath takes the time to listen so he can understand the full picture before moving forward. You may be asked to change into a gown and gently move through a few simple motions to help assess how your body is working.
02.
Using hands-on assessment, our osteopath checks for areas of tension, restriction or imbalance to understand what’s causing your symptoms. He’ll explain everything in plain language, answer your questions and outline a personalised treatment plan, including how many sessions you may require.
03.
Your first session lasts around 45 minutes, giving plenty of time for discussion, assessment and treatment. Follow-up appointments are usually about 30 minutes. Alongside hands-on treatment, our osteopath may provide personalised exercises, lifestyle advice and practical self-management strategies as part of an individualised osteopathic care plan.
We take time to understand the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Whether you’re dealing with back pain, neck pain or ongoing joint pain, our Maylands osteopathy clinic offers skilled hands-on assessment and personalised guidance to help you move more confidently.
Your lifestyle, goals and day-to-day demands shape how your body feels. We create tailored treatment plans for back pain, neck pain, sports injuries and joint pain, giving you clear exercises and practical advice to support lasting improvement.
At our osteopathy clinic in Maylands, Perth, every treatment is grounded in clear clinical reasoning. We use gentle manual therapy and a whole-body approach, aiming to improve movement and function while supporting your recovery.
Our Maylands clinic is designed to help you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. With a warm, patient-centred approach, you’ll receive clear explanations, hands-on care and a supportive space to focus on your health and wellbeing.
Osteopathy is a hands-on, evidence-based approach to treating pain and improving movement. It focuses on how your muscles, joints and nerves work together, using gentle manual techniques to try to ease discomfort and restore healthy function.
Most patients ‘self refer’ to an osteopath for treatment. Although referral by a GP is not necessary, patients are encouraged to keep both their GP and osteopath fully informed, so that their medical records are current and complete and the patient receives the best possible care from both healthcare practitioners.
If you have a chronic condition, it may be a good idea to chat with your GP about whether you qualify for a health care plan.
If you have private health insurance it may be possible to claim for your treatment through Hicaps. We can do that for you on the day of your appointment.
This usually depends on the condition being treated. Mark will discuss this with you at your appointment.
The first treatment generally lasts about 45 minutes (to allow for taking a case history) and subsequent treatments tend to last around half an hour. Mark may also offer added exercises and health advice, to help reduce the symptoms and improve your health and quality of life.
Due to rising costs, a price rise has become unavoidable. Please note that increases take effect as of 31st March 2026.
– Private health insurance rebates can be processed on the premises through Hicaps.
-All major credit cards are accepted.
-GP Care Plans can be processed on the premises.
We understand that unplanned issues can and do arise and that you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment from time to time.
Should this occur, we respectfully request that at least 24 hours notice be given.
As a small business that prides itself on the best quality health care whilst keeping costs as low as possible, late cancellations and non-attendance of appointments is problematic.
A $60 late fee will be incurred by any client that fails to provide 24 hours notice.
We thank you for your understanding.
